Elderly care is facing major challenges

Elderly care is facing major challenges. We have an aging population where the number of elderly people is increasing.

Tax revenues decrease when more people retire and at the same time expenses increase when more people need care for the elderly. The challenge is to be able to both retain and increase trained and competent personnel, which is in short supply, and to get enough tax money for this.

One way to meet these challenges is to work more preventively and less reactively.

By preventing common ailments among the elderly such as falls, malnutrition, pressure ulcers and mental illness, aged care can free up resources that can be used to hire and train more staff. At the same time, preventive work gives the elderly a maintained or even increased quality of life.

Our aim is to help elderly care with this work.

We have an idea for a digital solution that facilitates decisions about preventive health interventions in elderly care based on the needs of the individual elderly.
